Paul Fraser Collectibles, as an Agent for Stanley Gibbons Limited, is delighted to offer:

The Stanley Gibbons Flexible Trading Portfolio (FTP)

First and foremost, the Flexible Trading Portfolio (FTP) is an investment in rare stamps -the world's most valuable commodity by weight. Its primary benefits include that you can:

Sell items within your portfolio and re-invest the proceeds of the sale

Do so without paying any commission

Compound the entire profits from the sale into your overall returns.

Your Flexible Trading Portfolio (FTP) is a portfolio of rare stamps compiled by philatelic experts. The stamps are selected for their quality, rarity and investment calibre.

Stanley Gibbons also provides secure free storage (to which your stamps are delivered on an agreed date) and insurance during the term of your investment.

Avoid a long-term contract

The Stanley Gibbons Flexible Trading Portfolio (FTP) could be perfect for you, if:

You don't want to be tied into a long-term contract

You want to enjoy the opportunity to sell - without paying any commission or marketing costs - by reinvesting the proceeds in new items

You want to compound returns on your investment

You think you would benefit from a more dedicated management service from Paul Fraser Collectibles and Stanley Gibbons.

Stamps are outperforming property and gold

According to Stanley Gibbons' GB30 rarities index (tracking the performance of the 30 rarest Great Britain stamps) stamps have brought investors an average return of 9.5% per annum over the last 50 years.

The stamp markets have low volatility, and also a bright future, thanks to 48 million (and growing) passionate collectors worldwide. These collectors are ensuring that the that prices, liquidity and demand in the stamp markets remain strong.

That's why over the past 5 years, as financial & stock markets tumbled, the GB30 Rare Stamps Index rose by 84.3%. The compound return of the index since its inception (on 31st December 1998) is 274.7%. This equates to an average annual compound return of 12.8% since its inception.

The Stanley Gibbons GB30 rarities index has outperformed UK property, the Standard & Poors 500, the Dow Jones index, the FTSE 100 Total Returns Index, the Hang Seng index, and even gold over a 10-year period.

A recession-proof investment

Stamps have historically performed well during times of economic recession. In fact, stamps traditionally excel during periods of high inflation, and have continued to perform well during the current economic crisis.

What happens if rare stamp values fall in value?

This investment product does not offer any capital security. In the event that the rare stamps included in your portfolio decline in value, you will lose a portion of your capital invested.

However, rare stamps have never declined in value during the past 50 years and have increased in value by an average of 10% per annum on a compound basis during that time.

This provides investors with comfort based on historic returns. Although past performance is however no guarantee of future performance.

If capital protection is your primary aim, we would recommend that you consider Stanley Gibbons' Capital Protected Growth Plan.
