This is the premier collection of Olympic Games Host Cities website domain names. An Olympic Games website domain is a unique value, there are several gold medals, torches, pins, etc, but only could exist one Official Website domain.

The Official website of an Olympic Games event is form by the name of the Host City in English followed by the year of the celebration and the .com extension, as example, http://www.london2012.com/, http://www.vancouver2010.com/, http://www.barcelona1992.com/, http://www.london1948.com/.
For years I have been collecting Past Official Olympic Games Website domains, from the all 48 Olympic Games held until now, between Olympic Summer games and Winter Games, I own 38 domains. This is the biggest collection of the Official Olympic Games Host Cities website domains. I wondered what happened with the Olympic Games held before internet had existed, and I found that most of them had their official domain available. This is how I started my collection. For me was a surprise discover that those domains were available because they are uniques, none one in the world would have them. Also the cities were the games were celebrate did not care to have them, for historical promotion. Even the internet auction houses that sell Olympic games memorabilia for collectors, because they would have used those domains to position their articles in the search pages as google, for example; a collector interested in a gold medal from the Berlin 1936 Olympic Games, would typed directly in the URL Bar http//:www.berlin1936.com.
