Tennis stars sign champagne bottle to raise $32,000 for charity

Top tennis stars from the ATP World Tour Finals will sign a methuselah of champage

As tennis' ATP World Tour Finals come to London next week, a number of the top starsof thetournament will add their signatures to a bottle of champagne thatwill then be sold at auction.

The November 3 sale is being held to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital Children's Charity in London. The top eight players, which include Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, will all sign a golden methuselah of Moet & Chandon's finest champagne.

Moet & Chandon's Emelie De Vitis told the Uk's Independent newspaper: "The Barclays ATP World Tour Finals Gala is the only night of the year when the world's top eight step out in black tie for one charity. As the official champagne of the finals, we're delighted to be able to support and hope guests dig deep on the night to raise money for such a good cause."

The bottle is expected to see bids in the region of 20,000 ($32,000).

A case of six bottles of the legendary 100 year old Moet & Chandon from 1911 sold for $66,000 in November 2011, at a charity auction organised by actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Another six bottle caseof the renowned vintagemade $187,280 at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
