The Springfield Stamp Club is a philatelic society based in Springfield, Virginia.

About the club

The club has members of levels from beginners to experts, whose interests cover a wide range of philatelic areas. They are also active in encouraging younger stamp collectors, and run a busy schedule of children’s events.


The club holds weekly meetings every Wednesday in the cafeteria of the Lynbrook Elementary School in Springfield.

The first Wednesday of each month features a program of activities for younger collectors, the second includes a presentation or display, the third an informal trading session and the fourth a monthly auction.

In addition members have access to the club library, which features a number of philatelic books, journals, catalogues and monographs.
