The Singing Chicken alarm clock is a novelty alarm clock also known as the ‘Rock N Roll Singing Chicken alarm clock’.

Details

The clock is a plastic, guitar-playing chicken wearing sunglasses, and was manufactured during the 1990s by the Japanese company Rhythm. The clock face is inside the body of the guitar, and the alarm itself features the chicken singing "Hey baby, it’s time to wake up, come and dance with me, come and dance with me!" over a backing of rock ‘n’ roll music.

Value

The clock was discontinued towards the end of the 1990s, and is now a highly sought-after collector’s item. In boxed, good working condition examples can sell for up to $200 on internet auction sites such as eBay.
