Signed works at Earl's book auction

The 5th Earl of Rosebery's book collection contains several autographed texts.

A signed copy of Coleridge's Aids to Reflection (est 10,000-12,000) describes his view of Christianity as a 'personal revelation', and develops his famous distinction between Reason and Understanding, with annotations on it.

The centrepiece of the auction is a set of Byron's letters. There is also an account of William Bligh's travels by the man himself, which he has signed and made out to writer and painter George Keate.
