A signed photograph of Adolf Hitler discovered by a war correspondent in his bunker is to go under the hammer in Runcorn. William Forrest found the photograph when he entered the fortified air-raid shelter in the Reich Chancellery after it was overrun by the Red Army. He was one of the first people outside the Fuhrer’s entourage to gain access. The photograph is mounted in a silver frame and is estimated to fetch £12,000-18,000 at The Auction Centre in Manor Park on Sept 13th.
