Semi vitreous porcelain
Semi vitreous porcelain is a type of porcelain with a specific level of porosity. There are four types of porcelain, graded depending on the amount of moisture they will absorb. Semi vitreous porcelain will absorb between 3 percent and 7 percent moisture, and is trdaitionally used for products such as kitchen tiles. Semi vitreous porcelain will usually be marked with the label 'S_V' along with the manufacturer's label.
