Rock-Ola 1434 Super Rocket
Rock-Ola 1434 Super Rocket is a vintage jukebox manufactured by Rock-Ola in 1956. The 1434 Super Rocket can play 78 and 45rpm records and can play 50 selections of 78rpm records. However the Super Rocket was the last 78 player that Rock-Ola made. The jukebox is capable of playing both sides of a record.

Rock-Ola was established in 1927 in Chicago by David C. Rockola, who worked in a shop that repaired coin-operated devices since he was a young boy. The company initially manufactured coin-operated scales.
Rock-Ola stared to manufacture pinball machines in the 1930s. With the coin-operated phonograph market increasing steadily, Rockola decided to move in the field of jukeboxes. One of the company’s first successes was the 1935 Rock-Ola.
A Rock-Ola 1434 Super Rocket jukebox sold for £3,290 at a Christie’s auction in London, England on May 23 2002.
Fantastic Antiques Inc sold a 1434 Super Rocket on Novemebr 24 2007. The jukebox sold for $2,400.
