Unique Saxony cover with the City of Leipzig postmark
A great example is a cover with two three-penny reds from plate III, grades 6 and 9, both with wide margins. A one circle postmark appears with a blue "CITY POST 10.OCT. 11-12" on the small local letter.
The right stamp has stamp additional black marks. Both stamps are in perfect condition, whilst the stationery is partly broken in the folding. There are only very few city postal letter of this kind known. This is the only one with the blue city of Leipzig postmark. It will make an excellent investment
The item is currently carrying a bid of 25,000 ($35,300) and the auction is taking place in Wiesbaden, Germany and online.
