A rare negative of Marilyn Monroe taken during her first professional photo shoot when she was just 20 years old, has been sold at auction in Devizes, Wiltshire. The photograph was taken by a passing military government photographer when the young and unknown Norma Jeane Baker was working in a munitions factory with hopes of becoming a model. The negative sold for slightly lower than expected managing £4,250 at the sale which was held by auction house Henry Aldridge and Son.
