The dress, a lovely evening gown in soft pink with a floral pattern, was worn by the future Queen of England before being gifted to Miss Kathleen Ward, who worked at Clarence House - Queen Elizabeth ancestral home's - for seven years.

It is now expected to sell for between 1,000 and 1,500 ($1,700-2,551) as one of the lead lots of the auction.

More highlights include copies of My Early Life and Marlborough, His Life and Times by Sir Winston Churchill, each also estimated at 1,000-1,500.

Paul Fraser Collectibles has a wonderful selection of royal memorabilia for sale, as well as signed items from Sir Winston Churchill.
