Pope Francis Apple iPad makes $30,500
An Apple iPad which once belonged to Pope Francis has sold for $30,500 at auction.
The iPad features an inscription which reads "His Holiness Francisco. Servizio Internet Vatican, March 2013," and comes with a certificate that has been signed by the Pope's secretary Fabian Pedacchio Leaniz.
It was sold by The Castells auction house in Montevideo, with proceeds set to go to a school for the poor in Uruguay.
Pope Francis has descibed the internet as a 'gift from God' but has admitted that he is a 'disaster' with technology.
