Pen Collectors of America
Pen Collectors of America is an organization dedicated to pen collecting and the history of writing instruments. Their mission statement says their aim is to:
“…foster and maintain the integrity of pen collecting, promote the use of fountain pens, encourage and promote effective education, communications and understanding between all collectors, and define pen collecting as an international hobby.”
Their website features a wide range of news for collectors, a list of pens for sale in various categories, information on the organization’s current projects, a calendar of upcoming pen shows in the United States and an archive library of related information for members.
The online library for members includes two sections; an archive of back issues and articles from ‘The Pennant’, the organization’s magazine published three times a year, and a reference library of information relating to pens dating back to the 19th century.
The reference library is the world's largest library of pen company catalogues, repair manuals, articles, advertising materials, and other ephemera. It covers a number of important pen manufacturers including:

The site also includes information about the PCA itself, details of the ‘Pens for Kids’ project which looks to encourage an interest in pens and collecting in children, information on the PCA’s partnership with the Smithsonian Institution and related news and links for members.
