Pamela Anderson photo set to see $15,000 in First Open auction

A 2007photograph of Pamela Anderson, showing the model without makeup, is to sell at Christie's First Open: New Media sale, an online only auction that opens today (September 20) and closes October 4.

The photograph, taken by renowedartist Marilyn Minter (b.1948), is entitled Unarmed, and renders Anderson almost unrecognisable. It is expected to sell for $10,000-15,000.

The First Open: New Media auction explores the ways in which contemporary artists have employed technology "to recast more traditional mediums of production", states the auction house.
