The sale, which opens on April 18 and ends on April 25, stars the original manuscript for Breakfast at Tiffany's as its lead lot, with the two paintings expected to bring the next highest bids. The Frank Sinatra portrait is unique, a commission from artist David Brega in 1979 by Caesar's Palace, the famous Las Vegas casino, in honour of Sinatra's 64th birthday and as part of the celebrations for his 40th year in showbusiness.

The Woody Woodpecker Liberty Bell piece, also created in 1979, was part of an extremely rare series that creator Walter Lantz made showing Woody in various historical locations. Completed for his own enjoyment, the painting was hung in Lantz's studio until his death in 1994, then sold at the Christie's sale of his estate shortly thereafter.
