Olivetti Studio 45 typewriters are collectible typewriters, produced in the 1960s and 1970s.

Olivetti

Olivetti was founded in Turin, Italy 1908 as a typewriter manufacturer.

It opened its first manufacturing facility overseas in 1930 and merged with typewriter manufacturer Underwood in 1963, after purchasing the company in 1959.

In recent years the company has become known for its computers and printers.

It is currently owned by Telecom Italia.

The Olivetti Studio 45 was a mechanical typewriter produced in the 1960s and 1970s. They are were made in both teal and grey colours.

How much are Olivetti Studio 45 typewriters worth?

Good condition teal specimens have sold for $250 at internet auctions in the past, although most teal examples tend to sell for between $60 and $110.

Teal-coloured versions are more desirable among collectors than the grey variety.
