OK Corral gunfight signatures to make in excess of $40,000 at Heritage

The book of signatures includes many names involved in the OK Corral gunfight

A book of signatures collected in the town of Tombstone, Arizona (scene of the OK Corral gunfight) during the 1880s is expected to auction for in excess of $40,000 at Heritage Auctions.

The lot will cross the block at the Legends of the West saleon June 14 in Dallas.

The book was formerly the property of the Pima County Bank, which stored the autographs for comparison purposes.

It featuresspecimens from some of the most important figures in the town's history, including Wyatt and Virgil Earp, Kate Holliday and WR McLaury.
