Nicolas Cage returns stolen Tyrannosaur skull
Actor Nicolas Cage has returned a Tyrannosaurus skull which he bought from a gallery after learning that it has been taken illegally from Mongolia.
Cage originally outbid fellow movie star Leonardo DiCaprio for the skull at a 2007 auction held by the I.M. Chait Gallery in Beverly Hills-where the actor paid $276,000 for it.
Investigators soon discovered that the rare 70million year old Tyrannosaurus bataar skull had in fact been stolen from Mongolia and the actor agreed to return it.
