American former boxer Muhammad Ali (1942- ) is considered to be a cultural icon and has been nicknamed "The Greatest".

During his boxing career, Ali competed in a total of 61 fights and won 56 of them. He also won a gold medal in the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome.

Ali became known as an activist after he refused to be conscripted into the US military in 1967 due to his religious beliefs and his opposition to the Vietnam War. He famously said "I ain't got no quarrel with them Vietcong".

This is a copy of the oversize DC comic book Superman Vs Muhammad Ali which measures 10" x 13.5".

In the comic, Superman and Muhammad Ali compete against each other in a boxing match to prevent an alien invasion of Earth.

The 72 page comic book's cover shows Ali and Superman fighting in a boxing ring. They are surrounded by an audience which features many famous faces including musicians, actors, political and sporting figures, DC staff members and DC and MAD magazine. The names of the people featured on the cover are listed in the book.

This copy of the comic book features the autograph of Muhammad Ali in bold black ink on the front cover. There are some scattered surface impressions and light creases but the comic book is otherwise in excellent condition and the autograph is unaffected.
