The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas hosted Julien's Auctions' sale of Michael Jackson memorabilia over the weekend (June 24-25), exactly one year since the King of Pop's death, aged 50.

Julien's is no stranger to important Jackson memorabilia. Its previous big sales have included the rhinestone glove worn by Jacksonwhen heunveiled his iconic Moonwalk dance onstage in 1983.

That particular glove - labelled the "Holy Grail" of Jackson memorabilia -sold last year for over $319,000 (well above its $50,000 estimated value)to Hong Kong businessman Hoffman Ma.

The glovewas one of many worn by Jackson throughout his career; and another iconic glove, this time from 1984, lead the auction on Friday.

Thecrystal-studded glove, worn by the singer on his 1984 'Victory' tour, went under the hammer with 200 other items and eventually soldfor 10-times its pre-sale estimate.

Although lacking the "Holy Grail" status of the 1983 glove, the Victory tour glove was worn by Jackson at the peak of his 1980s heyday.Itrealised a final price of $190,000.
