Marvel Select She Hulk Action Figure
She-Hulk was the last Marvel character ever created by the legendary writer Stan Lee, and made her debut in Savage She-Hulk #1 in February 1980.
Real name Jennifer Susan Walters, She-Hulk is the cousin of the Incredible Hulk’s alter-ego Bruce Banner. Walters receives a blood transfusion from her cousin after being shot by a crime boss, and is given similar powers along with a large, green-skinned appearance.
Her law degree has allowed her to act as legal counsel to superheroes throughout the Marvel Universe, and she has also been known to break the fourth wall by acknowledging her status as a comic book character and talking to both the readers and the writers directly within stories.
The She-Hulk figure was released as a summer-convention exclusive in 2005, after a poll by readers of ToyFayre magazine picked the character ahead of Sandman, Thanos, "Days of Future Past" Wolverine and New X-Men Beast to be produced as an action figure.
Figure design and appearance
The figure stands 7 ½” tall, and features 16 points of articulation at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees, boots and ankles.
She wears a purple and grey leotard with black boots and gloves, and comes complete with a display stand featuring a wrecked car. The car can be held by She-Hulk with a single hand, mirroring the artwork from one of her comic book titles, and is supported by three solid dust/debris trails which act as solid stands.
The figure was only sold at official Wizard World comic book conventions throughout the summer of 2005.
