Focused on Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu with fine detail, the map locates Jedo and scores of other cities and villages, islands, lakes, mountains, etc. The large and attractive cartouche with Samurai and Geisha. The hand-coloring is well executed, possibly later but not recent. Provenance: P.J. Radford, 1972. Condition: A few marginal chips and tears, slight toning along centerfold; very good or better.
