A pair of Liz Hurley's Jimmy Choos have raised 1,300 ($2,089) for a children's charity at an auction event in London.

The actress' pink size sixes were one of 10 pairs of shoes offered by celebrities to raise funds for the Small Steps Project, which supports children forced to live and work on rubbish dumps around the world.

Also starring at the 3rd Celebrity Shoe Auction on October 11 were Keira Knightley's Issa heels, which made 1,100 ($1,768), while Ben Stiller's Adidas high tops achieved 500 ($803).

Speaking to Paul Fraser Collectibles, the event's organiser Amy Hanson said that the evening had "totally smashed last year", and that she had high hopes for the charity's forthcoming internet auction, which begins on Sunday, October 14.

Those wishing to grab themselves a pair of celebrity stilettos or sneakers while helping the cause can bid on a further 50 pairs in the week-long sale.

Last year's top sellerwas Kate Moss, whose high heels sold for 900 ($1,400).

The British model has again donated a pair of her shoes, and she is joined by stars of the big screen including Morgan Freeman, Jude Law, Ralph Fiennes and Dame Judy Dench, who wore her size six Cavellas for filming scenes in the James Bond films.

"I enjoyed wearing these shoes as "M" and I hope they will now raise a lot of money to help those in need," she said.

Retired ballerina Darcey Bussell has also donated a pair of her ballet shoes, while crooner Tom Jones' boots may also tempt many.

Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba's football boots are also up for grabs.

We will bring you full results from the online sale later in the month.
