The hand-drawn placard, signed by Lennon and Yoko Ono during the world famous event, is estimated at $150,000-170,000. It will sell as part of Julien's Auctions' May 17 Music Icons, Legends and Rebels 2014 saleheld in Beverly Hills.

The sign famously hung at the right side of the bed that John Lennon and Yoko Ono spent two weeks in as a protest against the Vietnam war. It can be seen clearly in the film Bed Peace, which was made free on YouTube by Ono in 2011 (watch below).

The sign is autographed by Lennon and Ono, and features a doodle of Lennon as the sun, wearing his signature round glasses.

In November 2011, the "Bed Peace" sign that hung on the other side of Lennon's bed made $154,000.

Also featuring in the sale is a rare signed copy of the Beatles '65 album, which is valued at $200,000-300,000, and George Harrison's 1962 Rickenbacker

Set to excite bidders is the first guitar used on stage by Jimi Hendrix, which is valued at $50,000-100,000. The guitar belongs to Joe Gray, who was Hendrix's friend at Washington Junior High School, and was apparently borrowed by the budding star for his performances with the Velvetones.

HIStory was Michael Jackson's third and final world tour

Once on loan with the Experience Music Project in Seattle, it is one of very few Hendrix-played guitars to make it to auction, with his short-lived career yielding few quality pieces of memorabilia.

Also starring is the gold and silver mirror finish costume worn by Michael Jackson on the HIStory world tour - Jackson's third and final worldwide tour. Complete with labels from the famous collection of Tompkins & Bush, it is expected to sell for $40,000-60,000.
