The complete set is signed "To Justin from Led Zeppelin" on the cover, with each of the members adding their autograph to the record's gatefold. It made 4,100 ($6,483).

Complete sets of Led Zeppelin autographs are rarely seen on the market.

Also starring in the auction was a grey sport coat owned and worn by Elvis Presley, which soared past its 2,500 high estimate by 204% to achieve 7,600 ($12,000).

Beatles memorabilia proved popular as always, with two tickets, a brochure and postcard from the Blackpool Big Night Out concert in 1965 far exceeding its 200-300 valuation, making 2,500 ($3,953) and an impressive 733.3% increase.

The sale is an excellent indicator of the type of gains typically seen by music memorabilia at auction. To join the market, see our full range of stock for sale, including a spectacular selection of rare Beatles items.
