A star-studded auction of Basketball Hall of Fame memorabilia will feature an NBA All-Star jerseyworn by Michael Jordan, on September 7.

Michael Jordan game-worn 1991 All-Star jersey Who is more collectible, Jordan or Johnson?

The Eastern Conference jersey was worn by Jordan in the 1991 All-Star game in which he scored 26 points with five rebounds and five assists. In that game, Jordan led his elite team to a 116-114 victory.

Featuring the iconic number 23 on the back and, of course, his name in bold letters across the back, the jersey has already surpassed its $25,000 reserve. As has the jersey worn by Magic Johnson in the same game, in which he opposed Jordan's All-Stars as a member of the Western Conference team.

Both jerseys share a $25,000-37,500 estimate and will sell alongside nine other examples from the 1991 game, which have more modest estimates ranging from $500 to $3,750. Each will be accompanied by a hand-signed letter of authenticity from NBA commissioner David Stern.

Elsewhere in the sale, Robert Parish's Boston Celtics championship ring from the 1983-1984 season will sell with a reserve price of $10,000, accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Parish himself. The ring was given to the Hall of Fame after the Celtics defeated the LA Lakers to secure a fifteenth championship for the team.

Who will see the highest sale price, Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson?

Jordan Johnson
