The Jaguar XJ13 was most probably the greatest Jaguar that never was. Designed to compete in the 1966 in the 1966 Le Mans 24 hours, but by the time the project was finished the car was deemed noncompetitive next to the Ford GT40 MKII. Only one example exists of the XJ13, but a few replicas such as this one (at auction from Auctions America) are around and are very desirable, with this example expected to sell for $200-300,000.
