The International Philatelic Golf Society is a stamp collecting organization specialising in golf philately such as stamps, covers and postal stationary.

About the club

The society was founded in 1987 by collectors after a meeting at the AMERIPEX stamp show in Chicago in 1986.

It now has over 250 members worldwide, from over 20 different countries, and is affiliated with both the American Philatelic Society (APS), and the America Topical Association (ATA).

Activities

The society produces a quarterly journal, ‘Tee Time’, featuring articles contributed by members. It also includes a regularly updated list of new golf-related stamps and stationary issues.

In addition the society also conducts regular members’ auctions featuring a wide range of philatelic material, and maintains a membership directory which allows members to contact each other and trade both items and knowledge.
