The Hungarian Philatelic Society of Great Britain is a U.K-based stamp collecting organization specializing in Hungarian philately and postal history.

About the club

The society was formed in 1953 under the patronage of collector Gary Ryan. It has over 150 members in both the United Kingdom and overseas, and meets twice a year in central England.

Activities

The society produces an award-winning quarterly magazine, ‘Stamps of Hungary’, which features articles, society news and members questions.

In addition to its meetings the society conducts regular auctions, offers a packet circulation service and maintains an extensive library of journals, catalogues and philatelic material for use by its members.
