Brief history/biography

The Houston Astros are a professional American baseball team based in Houston, Texas.

The team was founded in 1962 when they were originally called the Houston Colt .45s until 1964, but changed their name to the Houston Astros in 1965.

The team hasn't won any World Series titles to date, however, the Astros did win one NL Pennant in 2005, four Central Division titles in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2001, two West Division titles in 1986 and 1980, and two Wild card berths in 2004 and 2005.
