And there can perhaps be no greater commendation than from David Brown, the chairman of Aston Martin. Thisvery model was used as hispersonal means of transport in its early years.
So valued was Mr Brown's opinion, that the car was given its "DB" initials in honour of him.
The car waslater sold by Mr Brown to a personal friend, and it has remainedtheir family for over half a century.
Now RM Auctions is presenting it for auction in London on October 28, with an estimate of 250,000-450,000.
