If you've ever wondered what a $30,000 bottle of whisky tastes like, without spending $30,000, here's your chance.

Just 50 of the bottles have been produced each year from 2009. The run will end in 2018.

The evening will also include a five course meal and the opportunity to sample a number of other fine whiskies.

The current whisky auction record is held by another Glenfiddich; one of just 15 bottles of Janet Sheed Roberts auctioned for $94,000 (59,350) in March 2012.
