Sotheby's will see a tremendous array of silver head under the hammer next week as part of their 'Important Silver, Vertu and Russian Works of Art' sale. One of the highlighted lots is a set of engraved German parcel gilt silver beakers worth a staggering $80,000-120,000. The set bears the makers mark of A. Lamb and originate from Nuremberg circa 1660. They will head to auction on October 23rd.
