One of the few remaining traditions in modern day warfare is the symbolic use of swords in, of course not too long ago they were necessary as the main weapon of choice. Always nice to see one of the older, more ornate designed ones come up for auction, such as this George V Royal Navy Officer's sword complete with scabbard. The auctioneers Peter Wilson have put a guide price of £200-300 on the sword, due to be auctioned on the 10th of July.
