The Gay and Lesbian History on Stamps Club is a philatelic society dedicated to the study and collection of stamps featuring notable figures who have contributed to gay culture, along with those depicting the history of gay culture and its development.

About the club

The club was formed in 1982 byPaul Hennefeld, Blair O’Dell, Brian Lanter, and Lambda Stamps. It is a member of the American Philatelic Society and has Study Unit Status with the American Topical Society.

Activities

The club published a quarterly journal, the Lambda Philatelic Journal, featuring articles and news contributed by its members.

In addition it organizes an annual meeting of its members at a national stamp show.
