These figures were part of the Generation 2 line of Transformers, along with the Stunticons, Arielbots, Combaticons and Constructicons which were meant to be released in 1994.
The Stunticons and Protectobots never made it to mass production although several packaged figures were produced. The rarest in this line are the Motormaster and Hot Spot figures as they never made it to actual packaged production pieces.
The G2 Stunticon Breakdown did eventually get released in limited numbers as a Botcon exclusive and is still thought to be a very valuable piece on the toy collector’s market. The back of the packing for this figure shows the other four Stunicons, although these figures were never actually sold to the general public.
In 2006, Transformers fans Jon and Karl Hatman put some of their G2 Stunticons and G2 Protectobots on online auction site, eBay.
The G2 First Aid figure sold for $3050.
