It's brown with fern fronds or evergreen branches etched into. It also has a lovely coppery sheen. It has been signed "Jenny." I have other pieces which I believe were created by the same artist. Her full name is "Jenny Bullin" and she is from British Columbia, Canada. It is in excellent condition and would make a great addition to a collection or a lovely gift for someone who enjoys hand made pottery.
