French Egyptian Revival style clock
The early 20th century had a fascination with the designs of ancient Egypt, bringing about a short lived Egyptian Revival period for design. This Three piece clock (complete with obelisks) was made in France around the turn of the century, from red marble and black slate. Valued at $3,000-5,000 by the auctioneer A.B.Levy's, the clock heads to auction on the 4th of September. Finding anywhere it'll look right is your own problem.
