'Fantastic luxury' Holy Roman Emperor coin could bring $16,000
A coin depicting Sigismund, an Emperor who helped reunite the Catholic Church, is selling online
We've already examined a "fantastic luxury" Swedish stamp which will be included in Stockholm firm AB Philea's upcoming online sale on May 14.
Also included in the sale's excellent coin section is a very rare specimen of "unusually beautiful quality" which was produced in Sweden in 1594.
The coin bears the likeness of Sigismund, the Holy Roman Emperor who lived from 1368-1437 and was one of the driving forces behind theCouncil of Constancethat ended the Papal Schism, a split within theCatholic Churchfrom 1378 to 1417.

Alongside his profile is the inscription "SIGIMVNDVS".
Described as being a "rarity of the highest rank," the 29.36g coin's reserve price is approximately 11,000($16,000).
