Elvis's shirt sells for $32k

The King remains one of the top-earning deceased celebrities, as proven at this California auction

Asale of the King of Rock 'n' Roll's memorabilia, includinga golden jump suit, artworks and autographed record sleeves, took place at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers on Sunday.

One of the King's shirts sold for $32,500 after a 10-minute bidding war between four ardent fans over the phone.

Other sales included an autographed Elvis Presley picture sleeve, for $10,370,an album of original photos of the King for $7,390, and a pair of concert-worn scarveswhich brought$2,318.

Leslie Hindman's sale cemented Elvis's ongoing statusamong the top-earning dead celebrities.

Elsewhere, a more traditional Elvis collectible recently sold in California.The Martin D-28 guitar used in his famous final Las Vegas performance brought $106,200 at Profiles in History's Hollywood and music memorabilia sale.
