Edinburgh neo-classical police box to auction for $33,000 in Glasgow

The police box in Edinburgh's neo-classical New Town can be converted into a cafe

A police box in Edinburgh that features a neo-classical exterior will cross the block at Auction House Scotland in Glasgow later today with a 15,000-20,000 ($24,870-33,161) estimate.

Tardis cafe The police box has planning permission to become a cafe

The lot was built in the 1930s and was designed to complement the Georgian architecture of New Town in the city centre.

Unfortunately, it's not bigger inside than it appears from the outside, although it does come with planning permission to turn it into a caf.
