They've been trailing some of them for a while, but Acker has finally announced the simultaneous launch of three live auctions in three great wine cities across the world.

On October 22nd, 29th and November 4-5th, they will be visiting Chicago, New York and Hong Kong offering over 3,000 lots of the world's finest and rarest wines, with an estimated gross of $20m.

Headlining these sales are select offerings from the collection of Don Stott, the greatest Burgundy collector of our time.

The celebrated amazing race with our inaugural Chicago Auction at the Trump International Towers on October 22nd at 5pm (Chicago time), with over 800 lots of the world's finest and rarest wines, with including selections of Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne.

The Windy City is making an increasing impact on the wine markets and Acker refers to it in their auction literature as 'Our Kind of Town.'

The following week sees the company return to New York for a special occasion at Restaurant Daniel on October 29th, that being the collection of Don Stott, the world's greatest Burgundy collector.

Over half of the 900 lots on offer come from the collection of 'The Don,' and it will be an all-day love affair with Burgundy beginning at 10am (New York time).

The company will no doubt be particularly confident about the sale, having scored a $11.78m auction recently including a Romane-Conti world record.

Watch this space for more news on the upcoming Hong Kong auction, which will take place at Island Shangri-La and Grand Hyatt.
