Component of Wright Brothers' Model B plane
This seemingly unimportant strut came from a Wright Model B, the world's first mass produced aircraft c1910. A Two-seater made by the Wright Brothers themselves the Model B enjoyed success in the US Aeronautical Division as well as being the first plane flown across the US. This turnbuckle is at auction at Nate D Sanders with a starting price of only $500.
