Citizen's function packed 250-limited gold watch

The Japanese watchmaker hasn't held back in adding features to its Eco-Drive Chrono Time AT

'Everything but the kitchen sink' is the approach that Citizen have apparently taken for their new Eco-Drive Chrono Time AT watches. Functions are apparently the name of the game -and lots of them.

More obvious features - including the time (atomic clock based), a chronograph, 24 hour hand, inner rotating slide, rule bezel, date and world timer - are enhanced by more obscure ideas like a daylight saving time indicator, information on which atomic clock radio signal you are picking up, and a perpetual calendar.

According to early reviews, many of these functions will require a look at the instruction manual, but are apparently easy enough once you know what you aredoing.

The large, 46mm timepiece is available in a limited-edition gold plated version - of just 250 pieces - a less-limited steel version, and other models.

The gold plated version is priced at $895. Thisisn't a bad price compared to the steel version (available with a steel or leather strap and blue or black dials) which willretail for $650-750.
