Charles Schulz’ signed Snoopy sketch is a large collectible item of art, featuring a rare example of the cartoonist’s much-loved creation.

Charles Schulz

Charles Schulz (1922 - 2000) was a US cartoonist, best known for the Peanuts comic strip, which he produced from 1950 until 2000.

The Peanuts strip brought the world characters such as Snoopy and Charlie Brown.

Peanuts ran in over 2,600 newspapers in more than 70 countries.

The large 19" x 27" crayon sketch features Snoopy asleep on top of his kennel.

Schulz produced the work on an off-white board which features a small, in-built frame.

It is signed “Schulz” in the bottom right-hand corner.

A label attached to the back of the sketch states that it was "drawn before the Hollywood Radio and Television Society, April 26, 1977".

Generally in fine condition, it has some light overall toning.

The rare item is currently offered for sale by Paul Fraser Collectibles, a company which specialises in unique, high-end pieces of memorabilia.
