Note of authenticity, Georgina Hogarth
This lock of hair, belonging to the famed author, is authenticated by a note written by Dickens' sister-in-law, Georgina Hogarth. Georgina lived at the Dickens household to help rear the children and became a life-long friend to Charles. Even after Charles's wife left him in 1858, Georgina stayed with him until his death.
