Charles Darwin's clock from HMS Beagles
This clock was taken on the second voyage of HMS Beagle and used for the North American Boundary Expedition, accompanying Charles Darwin and the crew of HMS Beagle on their travels. Sold by Bonhams in July, the clock brought in £74,500 at auction. The clock was made by W.E. Frodsham of London in 1825.
