Charity volunteers invited to Beckham event to boost numbers
It has emerged that UK charity 'Save the Children' had asked volunteers to queue outside their Primrose Hill charity shop in order to boost numbers at the Victoria Beckham curated 'Fashion Saves Lives' event.
Save the Children did not want to risk a dissapointing turn out at the event which saw 24 of Harper Beckhams designer outfits go on sale for the charity.
The charity allegedy invited their volunteers down in an email which included a script that they should follow if they were interviewed by reporters.
The sale turned out to be an instant success, with more than half of the outfits selling within the first hour.
