A Cartier tiger brooch and bracelet bought by Edward VIII, the Duke of Windsor for Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor are set to fetch £1.5 Million at Christies. The jewels were bought by the Duke in the 1950's while in exile in France following his controversial abdication in 1936. They were then bought by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber in the 1980's for then wife Sarah Brightman. Brightman is selling the pieces in the November 11th Magnificent Jewels sale, with part of the proceeds going to the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation.
